The Whiteley Association offers a year round programme of events – some are for members only, whilst others are open to guests.

Events aim to educate and engage members, whilst providing them with opportunities to network with each other.  Our events include lunches and dinners with speakers, networking social events and visits to places of interest. Here are the events held over the last few years:

February – Networking lunch with Kathy Gillen- “Who do you think you are?”

March – Speed Networking at The Kings Bar

May – Security & Awareness for Everyone – Self defence session followed by dinner at Botana

June – Dinner with Dr Deryn Evans, Forensic Medical Examiner at The Greenhills Hotel

July – Networking Lunch with Lindsay Wood – CEO Andium Homes

September – Whiteley Association 35-Year Celebration – Inspiring the Next Generation.

October – Bioluminescence walk and dinner at The Seymour Inn

2024

January – A Networking lunch event at The Royal Yacht with Lucy Stephenson, Governor of Tiny Seeds

March – Cocktail and Quiz Night at Crosstown, St Helier

April – Cricket & Gin Evening at The Boundary Cafe, St Saviours

May – Jersey Archive visit followed by dinner at The Roseville Bistro

June – Walk with Jersey Trees for Life and Jersey Water, followed by dinner at The Tipsy

July – Evening with guest Speaker Susan Pearmain “My Life in Crime”

September – Lunch with guest speaker Kim Hacquoil at The Royal Yacht

November – AGM at The Club Hotel

2023

February –  A Networking lunch event at The Petit Pomme 

April – An evening  speed networking event at The Porter’s Store

May – Gorey Guided Walk “from Village to Castle” followed by dinner at Feast

June – Evening event at The Pavillion with talk and Q&A by Susie Richardson from HMP La Moye

July – Morning walk to the Jersey Oyster beds and oyster tasting

September – Evening event at The Radisson with Rear Admiral Jude Terry

November – AGM at The Salty Dog
